This option is popular for people wanting full functionality. It is an aluminium extrusion that fixes to the side of the Patio Pet Door. It creates a channel for both the sliding door and the screen door. Simply move your latches from the door frame onto this adapter and you can then lock both doors together as you usually would. Without this, you can only lock one door at a time onto the pet door.
This is also the most secure solution as both doors are locked. We recommend you use the adapter in conjunction with the Security Pack for the best security.
The adapter is 10cm wide and will not work with stacker doors.
The adapter comes in 2 pieces which are lengths of 105.5cm making it viable for shipping. This gives you a total height of 211cm If your door is taller than this you will need extension pieces and an adapter add on piece. See here. The adapter can also be cut down for doors shorter than 211cm.

Provides good integration with dog door, sliding door and screen door.
Initially I struggled with the installation, having to remove the top extension and then I couldn't reattach the lock. I rechecked the videos and ordered the security extension. It took me about ten minutes to install it and all my problems were solved! Now just to convince the cats that this flap will work as well as the one in the laundry!

The only thing I could say is I scanned the barcode and watched the video but didn’t realise I had to watch a different one when you had the screen door adapter so had followed the wrong instructions so had the door handle in the wrong place. Also screws are too long I felt. Would have worked better not having to cut them off. Overall though do love the choice to be able to lock both doors!

Both the patio door insert & adapter have solved my problem. I have a Chi who wanted to be inside & out constantly, I was leaving the glass sliding door open day & night! Not good for security & allowing flys & other bugs to enter my home. I now have a fly free home & a secure home. I am a very happy customer!

We’re no longer the doorman for the dog! The screen door adapter rectified the issue of closing the screen that little bit too far that the dog couldn’t get in the door. The adapter fits flush to the main sliding door frame and the installation videos are super easy to follow. We’ve also fitted the security pack so can lock the house securely when we go away.
